VELANNE started DJing at 16 in a warehouse in Barracas, with two borrowed turntables and a crowd that stayed until the power was cut. That is where her sets still come from: patience to build the night and a floor that never empties. In 2019 she landed the residency at Club Lumbre in Palermo, where her six-hour closing sets became a Saturday ritual. A year later she founded UMBRAL, a label and party series mixing melodic techno, house and progressive with new artists from the Buenos Aires scene. Today she tours Latin America and Europe: Montevideo, Santiago, Mexico City, Lisbon, Berlin and Barcelona. Her productions come out on UMBRAL and play in booths across the region. On stage she is sensual and precise; off it, obsessed with sound.
